Fresh, Farm Made Ice Cream

Joel is a fourth generation dairyman and co-owner of Thomas E Stanley & Sons - White Oak Dairy.  He has a passion for agriculture and has worked on the farm since age 11.  He graduated from Virginia Tech's Agriculture Technology program with an Associate's Degree in Animal Agriculture.  He serves as a deacon at his church, a board member of Hanover County Farm Bureau and Virginia Holstein Association as well as a dairy advisor for Virginia Farm Bureau.  He loves to hunt, fish and restore old Chevy pickups in his free time.

Favorite Flavors:  Strawberry and Dairy Sunset

Missy is the granddaughter of a Kentucky beef and tobacco farmer.  She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Accounting and has held management positions in the agriculture and education industries.  She works full time off the farm and is the farm's Treasurer. She volunteers at her church and in various community roles promoting agriculture.  She completed the Penn State Ice Cream short course in 2022 and is a certified Food Protection Manager.  She likes to travel, hike and read historical fiction.

Favorite Flavors:  Cinnamon and Orange Cream

Grace is the fifth generation to work on the dairy.  She feeds calves, helps with record keeping, maintains equipment and helps with many other chores.  She has been a member of FFA for the last six years, holding record fruit sales and various officer positions.  She volunteers at church's VBS and food pantry.  She loves to travel, especially to the beach where she enjoys surf fishing.  Cheese is her jam - cheese quesadillas, grilled cheese, mac and cheese, cheese pizza, the list goes on.  It is a good thing her Daddy is a dairy farmer!
